Guys, just done my first Pro-Pilot flight and have to say i think it is the best thing to hit this VA since the jet engine!! One small fault i spotted was that it said i had been at fault for not resetting my altimeter above 18000ft - i was flying the PMDG 737-800 and had reset the altimeter using the cockpit switch for standard (STD) in the centre of the altimeter selector and not using the B key board button - thus i had reset my altimeter but the software didn't detect it - not a big fault at all but i wanr to be a perfect pilot!! LOL and brilliant work all round guys, cheers, Jim

In fact you need to calibrate it to STD above 10000 in Europe and above 18000 in US. This should be taken into consideration when the problem is fixed ;)

Just realised i have done the whole flight on-line and didn't press the little pro-pilot tab in the flight logger and so don't think the flight will be valid although the PIREP has logged with my details and appears in the flights...d**n....guess i will be doing that one again then!!!

Jim,

I use always the PMDG 737-800 and I don't get that fault. Are you sure ? haven't you made something incorrectly ?

Basically I set my altimeter some hundreds of meters before that time, or, if I am flying on IVAO, right after passing the transition altitude ...

Regards,

Sorry to still pressure you, but can you try again please ?

We tested it so I am a little suspicious about it, with all respect of course ;D

I made a flight today with the PMDG B738 and didnt got that penalty.

Abotu 17900 i started pressing the "B" to put the qnh at the current altitude. After 18001 it resetted my altitude and I didnt got that penalty.

Going to close the ticket.
