Currently there are some problems with the IVAO network. Unfortunately IVAO was hacked - by who - i'm not allowed to disclose.

There is no given time for all the systems to be up and running again, so please have patience

Thanks,

Ooh... Looks like I won't be flying the second leg of the CapEU online tonight then...

When you say you can't say who did it, does that mean the perpetrator *has* been identified? Full weight of the law would seem to be in order if that is the case.

Yes it is known who has done it, but it was only released to IVAO staff, so im not in a position to say anything, however you can still fly online, however things maybe disrupted.

It's absolutely okay Conrad not to say anythink to anyone of us. I respect this very much. I must confess that the last three flights were not registered, since my counter of total flying hours is all the time during last few days on the same number.
Anyway, thanks for the warning and the information.

Peter

Can I just say that my previous comment was in no way meant to imply anything to anyone, let alone you Conrad. I'm interested, but not to the extent I would want anyone in the staff (HQ or DIV) to breach confidence.

As far as flying goes, Conrad knows (or can find out easily enough ;)) that I have busied myself with other things rather than flying.

Hi Sean,

You need 2 different passwords, one for logging on into ivan and one for the website

Sean,

Can I suggest you get a password reminder from the IVAO website? You should then get an email back with both your passwords in.

This all changed when ivao.org became ivao.aero...

yeah, i guessed it could have been something to do with the domain change.

Ive already tried the password reminder. It tells me that the account dosent exist. but when i make a new one it tells me that an account has just been made with that enail and IP

feel my frustration? :|

Ah... one of those. Your best bet is to get in contact with the IVAO Membership Dept directly - if your IVAO division doesn't have a membership coordinator (for example, IVAO-GB MC is Rico Allee - gb-mc@ivao.aero), try Walter ma1@ivao.aero and/or Sebastien ma4@ivao.aero at IVAO HQ.
