Crashed a 1900 5 days ago. How long suspension?
« on: December 09, 2006, 12:36:44 am »
An unfortunate real-life emergency took me away from my computer during an EHM flight on ProPilot. I filed my report (see below) and have been patiently awaiting a response so I can start working off that 1000 point penalty. I've read most suspensions are only 1-3 days and it has been more than 4 since I filed my report. Can someone shed some light here?

"Not much I could do for that one. I received an urgent call from base manager to de-ice a medevac King Air that landed here (my home airport CYCG). The medevac was flying a transplant patient to CYVR Vancouver for surgery this evening. As the weather was deteriorating here in Castlegar, I didn\'t even give my EHM flight a thought as I dashed out the door. Unfortunately, it took 3 sprays before the aircraft was able to depart before the de-icing holdover time expired. I did not get home in time to save the EHM flight. "

Scott, I think you crashed for a very good reason...just wait for your HUB manager to read your report and maybe he can close an eye on that ;)

I think the recent happening with tis hacker having fun is the main course of the suspensions not being unsuspended. And I'm sure there no other reason.

Happy flying

I'll mention this in the MT, so your HUB manager will take action as soon as possible.

Hi Scott,

This problem has been addressed and your suspension has been lifted. Unfortunately the last part of the website that was repaired properly after being hacked was the controls for lifting suspensions etc.

I apologise for the extended suspension that you and some others have had and hope that you understand that it was out of our control.

Thanks

I havnt been able to do anything because:

1) Been working from 7:30 am till 10 pm most nights
2) Havnt been able to access the control panel
3) Crowded skies

All Propilot suspensions have been lifted after the hacking.

Regards,
