I've been waiting for this day for some time - the return of the ATR-72 to EuroHarmony
So to celebrate, I took one of our shiny new beauties on a shakedown flight from Birmingham to Manchester, wanted to see if the paint was totally dry yet...
Here we are pushing back from the stand:-
...and we're airborne, bit windy here today...
...cruising at 8000 feet - the paintwork must be dry by now!
Thought you might like to check out the view from the left seat...
It's only a short flight so before you know it, we're lining up for approach...
...taxiing to the stand...
...and shutdown. Best have a quick check in case I got the new paintwork dirty... Anyone got a damp cloth handy???
Hope you enjoyed the flight - for those who haven't tried this aircraft yet, have a go - it's got a really good VC for a freeware plane and is ideal for shorter flights.
