Well ... it's possible to do it manually (I need to go to the log tables and do all those calculations, etc) so it would consume me a lot of time ..

But maybe it's something interesting to put on our development queue

We just made a piece of code that will remove that penalty when you submit your flight.

This sounds like a wonderful event.
But what about us lowly ranks? Do we have to achieve ATP by the beginning of the event or are we allowed to fly birds outside our EHM class?

the planes will be set as Class 1 planes so low rank pilots can also fly the event

like the MD-17 is a Class 6 aircraft

The Meljet (freeware) model is up.

If you have the pax version of the 747, you can share its panel and sound set if you prefer that one.

Quick question. Robert, i know you must be putting in a huge amount of work painting the aircraft livery for us which is greatly appreciated. Will the PMDG repaint be finished by the 1st March??
If not, will we be allowed to fly the first leg or two using the PMDG house livery for the 747-400F until our repaint is ready?
I only ask as i bought the PMDG 747-400F especially for this event - dedication or what

You are not alone, i bought the 747 and the 747F from PMDG, with this event in mind. More than dedication......LOL

I have the beast almost domesticated. My last flight with PP, overspeed below 10000ft, after a missed approach...eheheh.

Do you have the 747F operation manual from PMDG?

Yep, have the manual plus have done all the TRC lessons from the PMDG website!!
Not that i'm excited about this event or anything.....lol
