Flight Logger Runtime Error
« on: October 01, 2007, 01:04:19 pm »
Hi guys,

I just installed Flogger on my PC, but can't get it to work. (Windos Vista Home Premium, 3.0ghz Duo Core, 1gig DDR Ram, DX 10)

When starting it I get a runtime error .. :o

So i tried that DLL thingy that's posted in the other topics, but that gave me a error also :'(

Any suggestions??

That's an easy one...

Phil had already addressed this since May. (Talk of early adopters, huh??)

Anyway you can find the Runtime Error 70 solution HERE

Hope this helps.

Hmm, I have FS9, not FSX installed...

And the turning of UAC is not realy something I'd like to do ..

Any other ways ..?

No other way with Windows Vista. Software created on VB5 and VB6 needs UAC turned off. Sorry.

A new .Net version will be coming but it is a long way off I'm afraid.

Obvious other suggestion that I've heard in passing, install the FLogger somewhere other than "Program Files" (using "Programs" is oft suggested...) as that way UAC ignores the installation ;)

Didn't work for me... :s

Ok, so now I have disabled UAC, and FLogger works fine...

But now on the v4EHM-F70, on the MFDU, the toggle switch for the pages has disappeared.

So I can't toggle to the FUEL stats or GPWS pages anymore :s

Any help ??
