Water Textures

Can anyone recommend a freeware set of replacement water textures for FS9? I see a number in AVSIM but not sure which to try.

Hi Ian,

I do not know for certain if water textures are included, but for FS9 in pre-REX times i always used to fly with 'Real Environment Professional' as environment add-on. It may be a bit older already and perhaps it's not as superb as the full-blown REX itself, but it sure makes one hell of a difference in your FS9 environment when compared to default or to many other (some even payware!) add-ons!

Thanks Stef. Can't afford any more payware at the moment which is why I am looking for freeware, but will keep this one in mind. I think I have found quite a nice one called Mywaterproject by Sacha Durre on Avsim. Colours look so much more realistic than the FS9 default ones, at least from ground level. I will make a better judgement once I make my next  flight and see this from the air.
