Hello fellow co-pilots.
I am new on your wonderfull VA.
I have a problem with the beechcraft 1900D.

I can see the ALT button but I cannot find the appropriate instrument for selecting the desired altitude.

Can someone help?
thanks:$

First off, we are all happy to help you and welcome.

Secondly, you should register a username!

Right, now to your question. What I think happens is that you climb to your desired altitude manually. Then you select the ALT button and you should stay at that height!

Someone correct me if i am wrong but i'm pretty sure that's how it works!

from the top of my head. On the right side of the panel there is a gauge named ALT selector. That will be the autopilot altitude

To set the altitude

The position depends if you are using the EHM or PMDG  1900D

EHM

PMDG

You can set the altitude and switch on the AP and ALT after take-off ,  o and think about your speed at leveling off after reaching the desired altitude.

The same procedure can be followed to descent ,  but watch your speed so don’t make your Vspeed more than allowed.
