OK - I was installing the 737-800 ready for the flyin on friday, and i went through the normal procedure and specified the root directory and i have the fs2004 version, but it did'nt show up in fs.

I look in the root fs folder and the 737 800 airfile is there and the model and panel files as well. Has anyone else had problems with this plane?

Thanks

Maybe you entered a wrong directory. For the FS2004 version 737-800, you have to specify the correct folder, not only the game. So instead of normal path setting "...\FS2004" it needs the complete path, like "...\FS2004\aircraft\ehm_738" and then it will extract the files to the correct place.

Good luck.

Yep, i had the same thing....just move the aircraft file into your FS2004/aircraft folder and copy any gauge files into the main fs2004/gauges folder and it should work fine.....or.....buy the PMDG 737-800 and use the excellent euroharmony re-paint!!

Unfortunately my pocket money resources (I'm only 13 - just old enough to join) do not stretch to PMDG acft.

Maybe if i save up for a while...

My interest is flight started when I was about 6 - we had a pentium 1 (top of the range) and it came with a copy of FSFW95, the current version at the time. When I was about 10, I got seriously into it, my friends who had it also were always diving under bridges and generally going mad and didn't have the faintest idea how to get the thing on the ground without crasing. But I read pretty much the whole help file (I'm like that) and flew properly. It always interested me following preceedures and I got a kick after a really smooth landing. I was hooked. Recently we upgraded PC, and I was lucky enough to recieve FS2004 for Christmas. It was quite a step up as you can imagine! Then I found out about VAs and thought EuroHarmony was head and shoulders above the rest, so I joined up, and here I am!

Just out of interest, am I EHM youngest pilot?

Sorry, I didn't mean to post a biography of myself, it just got out of control!

Thanks - it works fine now (that was a long way of saying it wasn't it)
