F100 Fuel consumption

(1/2) > >>

Spider:
Presently on the EuroHoliday tour--at M306 from LIRF to LLJR
a total of 1258NM distance, FS9 called for 11054 lbs. of fuel.
I put on 12509 lbs.yesterday and cut pax to 60 from 107. Noticed that I was not going to make it all the way so added 5738 lbs.
Total usage was 17574.63 lbs. flying at FL290@300IAS. needless to say,that is way over fuel capacity for the F100.

Started the trip again today with two legs Leg1 from LIRF to LLGAV and Leg2 from LGAV to LLJR total fuel leg 1 was 9432.0 lbs., for Leg 2 11276.93 lbs. Both legs were at FL250 and 322 IAS--i.e. Max fuel would still drop me into the Sea off Cyprus??
My concern is the F100 should be good for approx 1650 NM
and here, it is only Legs of 595 and 676 NM respectively. Is there a "techie" that may correct the A/C Config file?

All comments appreciated.

I think soon there will be a "revamped" F100 using the Project Fokker  V2, so maybe that will work....unfortunately, i cannot edit CFG's so i wouldn't know how:[

The fuel capacity of the F100 is 22697 lbs / 3388 gallons according to the cfg (and FS9 ).

[fuel]
Center1 = 0.000, 0.000, -3.784, 830.000, 0.000
LeftMain  = -3.198, -16.500, -2.854, 1279.000, 0.000
RightMain = -3.198, 16.500, -2.854, 1279.000, 0.000
fuel_type = 2                                   //Fuel type: 1 = Avgas, 2 = JetA
number_of_tank_selectors = 1
electric_pump=0

This is the same as the Project Fokker 100 v2

I have done the flight this morning and ended up at LLJR with 8,488 lbs of fuel left from a full load at take-off. What is causing your problem I do not know - it is certainly very strange. The only thing I noticed from FSNav is that it gives a cruise speed for the Fokker 100 of 270 IAS which would account for some difference in the fuel used.

EHM-1001 Robert:
Hi,

300 KIAS @ 29000 ft = M 0.75, and about 100% N1 (full throttle) for the Fokker 100. The airplane has its long-range speed around M0.70 Try to fly at lower speed next time, and you will surely reach the destination. ;)

Spider:
Well guys, thanks for your follow-up! Since I thought I was "out to lunch", on this I just went back into FS9 and did a possible flight for the F-100.
Let me first say, you are both correct---however----
If you take Max Pax.@107 X170 pounds per = 18190 weight for Pax then go to your fuel and unless I'm missing something, you are only able to get in 5810.68 pounds of fuel. This gives us GW of 101000 and MGW of the same figure 10100---Max fuel allowed is 5810.00.
Now, to top this off, when I checked my last flight with the F-100, it was eating three times the fuel as the estimate (on average) from the "Kneeboard" file.---something not kosher here?? last note, I downloaded my Fleet in March of this year---have there been upates?
Thanks for you interest and in future, I'll try to get this item to the correct discussion area.
