Plane mix up in Dakar rally
« on: January 09, 2006, 06:32:36 pm »
I am glad to see that Phil has his plane back, but now I have been penalised by being stuck at the end of leg 7 with no plane, despite already hasving flown leg 8. How do I get my plane back ( i have no idea where it went to or why) and will I have to redo stage 8 for NO fault of my own? :$:$

Plane was CS-EDB. I used it for leg 7 - taxied to parking afeter landing and submitted my PIREP. Got a score from Propilit of 0.00 for that leg. When I went to lock the plane for the next leg it was not there, so I locked the only availble plane.

Hi,

Again what happened was that another pilot got that airplane from you and crashed it ...

So, I had injected a brand new airplane that is already locked for you.

Do the flight fast so you can catch up the others ;)

No problem Desmond.

We are here to help. BUT, don't forget to immediately lock your airplane as soon as you finish your flight.

Next time, on the next event, this like these ones will not happen because the airplane will be completely locked to the pilot until the end of the event.

It happened to me also, no-one crashed it, its just the system thinks so, unless some did crash it, and it never showed up who flew it.
