EHM-E4S:
I have this friend who's a girl (new thing to aviation) and she wants to be a pilot (she's very jealous of me, because she doesn't understand how the hell a yoke works, and I'm starting to get the hang of it lol!). For somebody who is more enthusiastic then me about flying, she doesn't know a d**n thing about it. I think it's very good to get more pilots, in the world, but I get a feeling shes a bit scared of Aviation, as she doesn't know much, but she wants to. She asked me for help, so I was thinking what I could do for help. My best idea was showing her IVAO and this website, to show her what it's really like (IVAO being the closest to real life ATC). But, I was thinking that maybe that would be a big step, knowing all that Phraseology. So I was wondering whether you guys have any ideas. I'd be very thankfull.

EHM-1001 Robert:
Maybe you could show her the very basic lessons of FS2004. That describes in very detailed how the airplane, and flying "works". I remember it shows which joy movement moves which wing element, and what it cause on the airplane's position and movements. ;)

EHM-E4S:
sounds exciting lol!

EHM-1671 Ben:
You could get her comfortable with flying, and when you think she's ready for it (lol) she could possibly join EHM??

I've noticed we have a distinct lack of female pilots here, and I've never known why... maybe Flight Sim is a guy thing!!! ;)

By the way, I thought yokes operated in the same way as joysticks? I'm getting one in a week or two so I'll have a look. In any case, congratulate your friend (who is a girl) for taking up aviation!

EHM-1821 Javier:
I have a friend who is taking up flight simulation too but he is a boy from my class.;D

He seems to be extremely interested but at the same time, he always distracted during those flying lessons.:]

He is still learning the instruments and he hopes to bacome an EHM pilot too. Although he dosen't own FS yet...

Cheers for more pilots to come;D;D;D
