Hi fellows,

For those who are event-maniacs, I must inform you that the next event is almost finished.

The analysis part is done, where we had choosen all the legs and the baseline history for it.

I can give you some clues on it:

- Going to be much harder than the last one, with visual approaches and very short runways.

- Going to be in Africa.

- Going to have a Cargo Airplane.

- Going to have about 24 legs.

Start counting gentleman ... the next event is in countdown!

Regards,

sounds great - but for a first time eventer what way is the event actually done? ;)   is it online or can you do it offline? is there a time limit? do you have to have a certain amount of hours to do it?

you have to lock your plane on Propilot, you can do it online or offline, there is a time limit to complete each leg of the Event, no certain number of hours required ;D

Woooow, Bruno. That's something for me. Love flying such flights where the electronic hell is not obligatory and human brains are involved including the pilot's skills to fly good. And the best part: WINTER evenings are almost here!

Ben, no problems at all. I'll send you some snow, accompanied with cold wind, icy roads etc. It's up to you to decide: would you like to get all that winter goodies via e-mail or Msgr.? All tax free, of course!

And I'll send you some pictures of a summer Christmas!! Can you imagine having a hot, sunny Christmas day complete with BBQ?

Ben, if so, I'll send you some Christmas pictures from Rangoon, since I'll travel there on Dec. 23rd for 16 days travel all arround Myanmar ( ex Burma ). But in general I agree a 100% with Brian!!! He made only one mistake: beside all the winter idila it counts a glass of good wine or something shorter, but stronger!
LOL.

ha ha yes indeed Peter..... how could i forget the most important part but may i suggest that instead of a glass of wine we go for a strong hot irish whiskey to warm the ol' cockles during the christmas cheer ;D

Seems I came back here just in time for the fun to start. A great summer break from everything including flight sim and a guy arrives back in the autumn to a new look forum, a new version of fs being released and more importantly, a new Pro Pilot event... how could life possibly get better ... Oh Hell ... gotta go ... got Jessica Simpson at the door :)

The world tour is a lot of fun, great sense of achievement after alnding at YSRN (arrival of the big class 7 flight from South America). I'd recommend it to anyone ;)

More on topic, I don't think there are going to be anymore clues, we're just going to have to wait and see!! ;D
