FSX Liveries

Do ehm have any liveries for the b757 of pss? I've got one this morning, but I couldn't find ehm repaints...

Not as yet! I know Robert is going to renew the fleet in the new colours over the next few months and this will include some payware aircraft but I don't know if this one is on his list...

It takes quite some time to do a repaint and if only a few people have a certain payware aircraft it may not be worth the time it takes... But I'm sure Robert will be able to give you a more exact answer...

Please let us all know if the PSS 757 is any good. They lost a lot of fans with the 777 fiasco...

The only other payware I've tried is a saab 340, so I don't know much about this kind of aircraft... but as much as I can say - It's not worth the money.

Hi guys,

as Dominic said, there will be payware aircrafts too in the newly repainted fleet. I could say, those will get the new livery first that are already present now, and then I will move on to the currently unsupported models. I have not thought about the PSS 757. Once I tried the Captaisim one and found it very good, although that time they did not support it with 2D panel, so I did not keep it.

Please 757 lovers, decide which one would you like to be repainted ?

I read 'Boeing 757' so I came a-runnin'...

Now, I haven't tried the PSS 757 but I do have the Captain Sim 757. I just can't stress how magnificent this payware aircraft is and I would absolutely recommend it to ANYONE with a processor above the 2.--gHz mark. I have a 1.8 and it's quite slow unless all my scenery bars are at minimums which kinda lets it down. So, if Robert does decide to make a payware livery for this I would MOST DEFINITLEY recommend that it goes for the Captain Sim 757. There are absolutely no problems that I have encountered with it since download and installation around six months ago, unlike this PSS 777 situation that Dominic mentioned.

Well to be honest Terrence,

I was in the process of linking it all up & testing it but I have had to forget about FSX for now due to a stupid error when re-installing it. (I know some of the fleet works and some doesn't yet) I believe so long as you have the FSUIP ver 4 for FSX , the flight logger will work, although I can not confirm this, I am sure one of the guys who is running FSX will clear this up.

I havent flown a 757 yet so cant comment       - did you get that problem with FSX sorted now Phil by the way? i'm going back to FS2004 myself as i'm really not getting the best out of it and prefer having loads of add-ons to enhance the gameplay!

Brian, I can not re-install FSX at the moment, MS have still not come up with a solution..... If you are going back to FS9, DO NOT UNINSTALL FSX. The only way to re-install it after uninstall is to completely format your hard drive until MS come up with a fix.

      uh-oh....... i'm after un-installing it!! i thought you had two attempts to un-install before you'd encounter all the problems you had??  nooooooo  :$

Brian, it's not the registration issue, this is actually a bug in the installer, it will not install after being uniinstalled on a PC. It will go all the way through the install procedure then you will get an Error 1722. It will then roll back the complete installation.

Well just try reinstalling it, if it works, you are one of the lucky ones, if it doesn't so far the only cure is to Reformat your Hard Drive and reinstall a new copy of your OS. Sorry!

ah sure that isnt worth it..... going to all that trouble just to re-install it?? i think i'll just buy it again whenever i get a new updated machine i.e in about 6 months or so ( the price should have gone down by then :% )

Nope. PSS do not have 340-500, only -300.
