Zurich Tour
« on: July 15, 2007, 03:16:39 am »

This week I was honoured to escort a group of influential business leaders around our airport. Thanks to the team at Location Switzerland I was asked to show a group representing several international banking institutions how EuroHarmony could help them transport staff and equipment as they open regional offices here in Switzerland...

Our Tour began at the EuroBusiness lounge in the Airside Centre where we treated them to champagne and canapes as they took in the great views across the airport...

...including the exceptional level of service we provide to our EuroBusiness clients...

In the Conference Centre I gave them a presentation on the many advantages Zurich airport can offer to their businesses, ranging from its strategic central European location and flexibility because of the multiple runways...

...to its state of the art Air Traffic Control facilities which ensure timely arrivals and departures...

Each guest was given a SPECIAL BROCHURE explaining all the facilities available at our Hub before we transferred to a EuroHarmony coach for an 'airside' tour...

We began at Gates A & B near the Airside Centre where much of the European traffic is handled...

...before moving on to see how EuroHarmony can help these businesses at a regional level...

...as well as moving the heaviest or most specialised loads across the world from our purpose built Cargo Centre...

Next we drove over to the fantastic modern facilities at Dock E in the middle of the airfield...

...before we were treated to an Emergency Response display by the airport Fire Department...

We ended the visit with a question & answer session on the ultra-modern flightdeck of a EuroBusiness 777...

Our guests were very impressed with the services EuroHarmony provides here in Zurich and contracts for our services are currently being negotiated ;)

I hope you enjoyed the tour ! The scenery is courtesy of the team at Freez.aero - I highly recommend it even though I've only just started using it. It is freeware (!), very detailed and accurate to the real airport and there are specific Ground charts available here. There are some textures missing as it is not a finished version but I believe it is the best scenery currently available for our busy and modern Hub airport :P

Your feedback and comments are, as ever, very welcome !

There's always something new at Zurich !

Thanks Dom, Another great advert for Zurich! :)

Javier, AI package is work in progress but I hope we can have more news for you soon. The guys are still trying to to get some work completed on Business and Holiday division repaints before we can move further with the AI package but Janos is working really hard on the AI stuff at the moment so I hope it wont be long!

Cheers,

Paolo,

The scenery is freeware (I'll edit the main post to make this clearer) and, yes, it's of very high quality! It isn't entirely finished yet (some textures need adding) but it really does add a lot of realism to your flights at Zurich ;)

Hi Dom:

Well done! As usual, very well thought out, almost PPP (Power Point Perfect). You do good things for LSZH And Euroharmony
in general.

Thanks for all your efforts.

Dan
