l have just downloaded ivap  from ivao website and installed it on my computer , when i got  on Fs9 there is no button on the top line, l have looked on the forum but cannot find anything about this problem, could someone point me to a link or give me help          regard Bruce

Are you sure you have installed it in the right directory? It happened to me and I discovered I had installed it in the wrong directory, and then the IVAP Module was not installed in the FS9 directory. Check it out.

If that's the case, you can manually fire up the user interface from the start menu - All Programs\IVAO\IvAp\Ivap User Interface.

And one more thing (that made my IvAp crash to high heavens) make sure you have the latest DirectX installed and functioning.

Windows can be very tricky, but in this case, I think that if you don't find it on Programs it means that it's not installed at all. Try to see if it appears on Control Panel/ install uninstall software. If it's not there, it's not installed.

hi Vaz,m  thanks for the info  the program is   installed acording to install/unistall software. on the file Ivac pilot client file i have
Ivap configuration
Ivap network interface for multi PC set up
this is listed for a second time underneath
plus 3 MTL files  and other files i.e manual uninstall etc

That doesn't sound right Bruce. A screenshot (as Rico said) would be very appreciated. I have a feeling something hasn't gone right and you may need to de-install/re-download/re-install.

Hello all. thanks for the information, l have finally sorted it out , l did a reinstall of FS9 and it worked ok from the start, also l have a better frame rate than before, no now l have to learn to use it , thanks again for all your help   best regards Bruce
