Bruce,
The panel files are located within the FsNordic site.
As far as as I noticed with all files from this site, their (recent?) policy is to forbid linking directly to the files. This means you have to enter through their home page (
www.fsnordic.net), then look for the panel in the section File Library / Flight Simulator / Panels / McDonnell Douglas / MD-11 panel for FS2004 by Alain Capt, version 2.52.
Looks like a lot of browsing within their site but that's not so bad as they have some other interesting stuff there too.
About the panel itself, I tried it (after reading the long documentation) and it has some really impressive features. unfortunately, I gave up using it because of one problem, but a major one to me: some of this features (LNAV among others) tend to reset when you exit / enter the cockpit view (which I do all the time to admire the landscape). This behaviour is fairly mentioned in the documentation and it may be a problem or not depending on your flying style.
So I ended up aliasing the panel to the standard B747, which is completely unrealistic due to the "extra" fourth engine but works well and allowed me to use the aircraft model, which is nice too.
Hope this helps
Andrei
