Clean your PC out if you're getting nasty smells :) Avoid putting a(n unearthed) vacuum cleaner anywhere near it, but a can of air (like a photographers air duster) or a proper air compressor (like my dad has...) helps no end. If you're using compressed air to dust your PC guts, particularly indoors, have a vacuum running nearby to catch some of the airborne dust, but like I say, keep it away from the guts of your PC (they can generate vast static charges when running).
