Barack Obama Event : Country reservations
EHM-1001 Robert:
My est. weight for return flight will be 730 kLBs which is exactly the limit for a 747 on a 7000 feet runway. I will not play with life of my politicians, my life... and my PP points ;D I takeoff instead from Dulles.
EHM-0948 Bruno:
Robert the departure airport is Reagan, so I would suggest you depart from there please.
Mates, do one thing: Load your airplane with the estimated fuel, and try to depart from Reagan outside ProPilot. If you check you can, then please use Reagan.
It's important to stay with PP rules ... but if you airplane cannot take-off, than you can use KIAD and write that on the obs of your flight.
I am going to depart from Reagan with my MD-11 and I need to depart with 80% fuel for Honolulu. I will do a take-off test.
In the mean time, here are my pictures from the VOR-DME approach for runway 19:
Starting approach on BONDS intersection, follwing the chart for RNAV approach RWY 19
Looking at window and thinking "What if this go wrong?"
Starting approach turn, the fun is raising!
Outside view
Passing to visual, autopilot off
On final
On ground!

I see your point here Robert but do not forget Bruno is flying someone else's president ;D , which may explain a difference in your point of views.
I assume things would also be different if most pilots here used to vote for the opposition :)

EHM-0948 Bruno:
I must say this airport has one of the best approaches I ever saw, only beaten by LPMA :)
We will add this destination to our Business division, for the next timetable.
EHM-1001 Robert:
Nics pictures there ;) I see you were a bit over the glideslope too. That was my problem for the first trying but I made a go-around instead.
The cold weather will help the engines, although the icy surface will not (wheel brakes were quite ineffective...). Anyway I will try a loaded take-off offline and we will see ;) Mr. Pres. rulez ;D
