Sorry to be on again with this topic, but I note a previous reply below.

The avatar is automatically generated according to your rank, tours and missions completed, etc. You should only go to "Control Panel / Options" and there to "Edit Profile" and in the cell "Avatar" to put the line "http://fly-euroharmony.com/pilots/badge/2383.png", press "Edit Profile" and from now on you shold see your badge next to your name and EHM Id.

My rank has now changed and I have gained some awards, but these are not automatically being reflected in my avatar. Can someone suggest what is going wrong?

Many thanks for reporting that; even with the logging we've got we don't know when it doesn't run.

Turns out to be a side-effect of some of the recent updates that have happened on our server - the automatic script has been "broken" (will only take a few minutes to fix) but the manually run script I made for such emergencies is working fine, hence your updated avatar.

I'll see if I can't fix it today (depends on how much work I get from my employer, given I'm at work
