Oh yes, as I understood it must be a set of rules for the required procedures to keep, also an interactive indicating / warning system in the cockpit.

I am afraid, if you ever had a smile watching and playing with INS navigation... after NextGen is fully operable future pilots will also have a small smile on their faces when thinking about nowadays navigation and ATC systems.
