Good pilots keep their number of landings equal to their number of takeoffs. Takeoffs are optional but landings are Mandatory.

Hahah that's amazing yet ridiculously complicated and impractical. I don't think we'll ever have reliable "bird-like" planes, because it all depends on power and lightness on birds... hollow bones, small bodies, powerful muscles. I don't think we have the muscle power and stamina needed to sustain a machine like that in motion for long.

I agree, you probably would not go very far in it, but it does look cool with those wings flapping!
