It is indeed. Been in development for something like 7 years.

EDIT: You need ts for IVAO?

You need ts for IVAO?

TS2, yes. I seem to remember that it was included in X-IVAP when I installed it (but I already have it installed, so it didn't install it again)

Annoyingly, TS3 client isn't backward compatible, so you can't run just one client for both varieties of server.

Can you connect to the ts2 servers using the ts3 client?

From reading the rules and regulations IVAO seems a little more relaxed / friendly to newbs than VATSIM - correct assessment?

Definitely IVAO is a lot more relaxed environment (esp. if I'm controlling and it's not busy ;) )

So, I registered at IVAO.org and now have a feeling that I should have registered at IVAO.aero instead, is that right?

Yes, .aero is the right place. .org is the site run by the guy that used to be "in charge" at IVAO, but there was a big falling out and everything moved to .aero.
