EuroHarmony's 10th Anniversary
« on: April 28, 2011, 03:13:26 am »

There is only one day left now until our 10th birthday so I'm opening this thread for anybody to post their thoughts, feelings and reactions to the Anniversary, the Events we've set up to mark it and the various aircraft repaints that have been created to help all our pilots enjoy this mammoth achievement.

Please share your views here and let us know how you plan to enjoy the VA's birthday ;)

And most of all, HAVE FUN!!!

   Hi Folks
I arrived in the Netherlands last night to visit family. :)   (bad timing) :'(
Since my last visit, my son has acquired a new computer so I am trying to set-
up my beloved steam driven FS2004 for the anniversary flight.

Hope to start the Hub-Hop event on my return home

Happy Anniversary EHM. At this time still in the office in Bogota. My flight leaves at 1800 (2300Z) to Panama then to my hometown. No way I can be on time. Sorry for missing it. Have fun you all.

Good pilots keep their number of landings equal to their number of takeoffs. Takeoffs are optional but landings are Mandatory.

Woohoo Happy Birthday EuroHarmony  ;D

Completed both legs on VATSIM tonight LSZH-LSZB-EGLC. Really nice flights despite sporadic ATC coverage and that landing into London City is exciting especially as my keyboard dumped during the last 30 minutes of the flight and had to be quick with the mouse to hit reverse props (its not mapped on my HOTAS and that keyboard bug is a known FSInn/FSX issue that happens from time to time). I got the brake warning light but managed to stop before smoking the ATR's wheels!

Its a real pleasure to be a part of this "Harmonious" community and look forward to years of more adventures. I have another birthday surprise to give; however, it won't be seen until around the second week of May.

Also thanks to the guys who run this thing. Ya'll are great  ;)

Best Regards

Ted

p.s. I chuckled when I realized the royal wedding was the same day.

Glad you enjoyed our special day Ted :)

For my part, I was torn between the Royal Wedding, my Mother's birthday and a close friend of my wife having a Caesarean section baby. So I never made it to the Fly-In but at least after the dust settled I flew the first leg of the Hub Hop Event, nice trip!

For all those who participated in our Anniversary celebrations, thanks  ;)

After having flown down from Zurich to Singapore I have now completed the first leg of the Anniversary Event from Singapore to Chenai.  Nice flight. My feelings on the idea of this event is  " Full marks to whoever thought of it"  It is a challenge worth trying and I look forward to being able to complete it. Am proud to be a pilot on such a smart VA.
