Here are my pics for the first leg of the Event - enjoy ;)

Ready to taxi at MKBS

Cleared for takeoff!

Turning on course

Crossing the southern coast of Cuba

Descending into heavy weather

Turning on the DME arc for the Nassau ILS 14 approach and storm clouds everywhere!

Runway in sight...just!

On finals, strong crosswinds

Touchdown! Glad to be on the ground after that storm...

Engines shutting down, time for a Martini!

Hi Dominic

Sorry to make you loose your valuable time but I just finished the first leg of the event and I was expecting to post some screenshots here just like you did, however I'm knew to these things and I haven't the slightest idea how to do it. I just try to use the image icon but I believe I need an URL were my photos are archived and of course I don't have one. Then I try to attach the photos and they were shown on the bottom of the message and that's not what I want. Then I tried Facebook Euroharmony page and again I couldn't find what I wanted too so  I wonder if it's possible to you to give me a hand and help me how to do this? I have just check most of the forum and found no help there. Don't you think it could be helpful to put that somewhere may be in the FAQ section? Thanks for your patience. Best regards

Hehe, I see you've found your way around the Gallery, Luis  ;D

Nice report, and bizarre busy at MYNN, indeed ???

I flew leg 1 today on X-Plane10. I am still not very comfortable with the behaviour of the XP A318, so I flew offline. The screen shots I made using Snapper all went black, except for this one, so there's no extensive report from me, this time.

I tried to hand-fly the ILS approach rwu 14 into MYNN, to get a better feel for manouvering the A318, while setting and reading the instruments. As you can see, the 14 DME arc did not look much like an arc  :D. I was lucky to be on the localiser by the time I hit 2000ft, because then I hhit some very dense fog. Could not see a thing outside. Then you just have to trust your instruments, and keep diving into the unknown (I was still high on the glideslope, trying to catch up with it before the runway). At 500 ft, I got a clear view of terrain and runway again, so I could continue visually. Only, because of the high approach, I got in way too fast, and bounced on the runway a couple of times before settling down. I needed all of the runway to come to a stop. So bad even, I had to take the left-hand exit, because I overshot the last right-hand one.

Next time, Ill be more proficient. Maybe I will have even found the starter switch, and the speedbrakes, or spoilers, or however they are called on a Bus.  :P
Maybe I will also have found how to throttle down to idle, instead of having a minimum of 50% throttle (give very poor descend rates at a given speed...)
I will use the built-in screenshot functionality of X-lane itself, and report here if and when it works. Who knows, I may even try my hand at a little movie ...

I did leg 3, KNEW-KSFO, yesterday.
In my freshly updated X-Plane10, I took my freshly updated J. Rollon CRJ-200 for this trip.
I had some troubles with X-IvAp crashing XP10, so I flew off line. I had really hoped to fly this one on-line, but that was not to be.

I did not take many pictures, but I wanted to share these two with you guys:

About half-way, approaching the Rockies, a thunderstorm front forced me to climb to FL340 to climb over the worst of it.

That cost me a bit more fuel, and my fuel planning was critical as it was, already. I tried a Continuous Descend Approach into San Francisco, but the mountainous terrain surrounding it forced me to do another in-between climb ...
So I ended up with only 27 lbs of fuel (while LH and RH tanks have 20 lbs of unusable fuel) at the moment of engine shutdown!  :o
I was happy I did not have to go-around!
