Museum Boeing 737-400
« on: August 25, 2012, 10:52:36 pm »
Rewriting the EHM Ops Manual reminded me to do something else I've been intending to do for a while - I've uploaded the old EuroHolidays 737-400 for FS2004 to the Museum Fleet. It's an FS2002 plane in the old livery, just a repaint of the default 737, but it was one of the first jets I flew a lot in my early career at EHM so it's always had a special place in my hangar. For sentimental pilots like me, here's a "new" one to download and have a little fly around in, just for old times sake  ;)

(It may work in FSX, not tested)

Hello Dominic,

Nice work. Any chance she will be available for FSX? Would love to fly her as well

Regards

Dirk.

I've just converted her to work in FSX Dirk - try the file attached to this post, it's just the plane so you need to extract the folder from this zip file and then copy and paste the folder into your FSX/SimObjects/Airplanes folder.

She should show up under "EuroHarmony" on the menu, there is a thumbnail to help you find her. I've also added some extra views.

If she works ok in FSX for you (tested in mine and works fine), let me know and I can do a proper installer for the Fleet page ;)

EDIT - Forum won't let me attach the zip file, possibly too large, so bear with me a short time... :)

FURTHER EDIT - I've created a full installer which is on the Fleet page so ignore the above instructions and just install to the Main FSX folder as per usual ;)

Dominic,
Thank you!
Not only did the 73 install effortlessly, but she flies like a dream.
So does the Dassault - except that she, and the Antonov 148 - gives no sound.
I have tried to install the sound from Fokker 70, but to no avail. Any suggestions, or code of practice, will be welcomed.

Regards

Dirk

Hi Dirk,

That's strange - you did install the FSX versions I take it? The Dassault Falcon is aliased to the default FSX Learjet so as long as you have the Learjet in FSX there should be sound. Same thing with the Antonov 148 which is aliased to the Bombardier CRJ-700.

To check, please go into your SimObjects/Airplanes folder and look in the relevant folders for these planes and let me know what you find in the sound folder. Also confirm that you have not deleted or changed the names of the default FSX planes?
