Title: Flogger problem
Post by: EHM-2467 Dale on May 20, 2009, 04:04:27 pm
A couple of times now I have used Flight Logger and at the end of the flight it doesnt give me the option of uploading the PiRep to the site, I am not sure if I am doing anthing wrong or if its a problem with the program itself.

Is there a certain way you need to use this software?

Dale,

You should have received, in the installation, a PDF that contains all the instructional texts for the V3 FLogger. Just follow said instructional texts and all will be well... ;D

Sorry to see you blush like that Dale, so here is a hopefully useful piece of advice.

It never happened to me (nor to anyone I know) that the flight logger stops logging during the flight. If there was no PIREP to submit, probably something went wrong at the very beginning of the flight.

What I do EVERY time is that immediately after startup I check the ACARS page in flight logger. Normally you should have there the first events of your new flight (that is, the engines starting).

If you have anything different (or nothing), then flight recording did not start properly. When in doubt, restart the flight logger and everything will be fine.

Happy landings - and subsequent PIREP submissions ;D
