I know it's only been up for half an hour, but let us know what you think. Poll's open for a fortnight, so if you want to have a look around first, off you go.
EDIT: Oh, and just in case anyone is worried that we'll get you if you want to be negative, the poll is entirely anonymous (as are all polls in this software), so if you really hate the new software, don't let us stop you telling us...

I prefer the new design - Good job there.
It's a more up to date version of the same software though no?
Usability is just as good as it used to be, so no complaints.
Main problem I have is with the main site design. You're probably looking into that in the future anyway though (perhaops to match the look of this and improve the menus)

Nope, this is a completely different forum software. The fact that our old software hadn't seen any major development for a year was one of the main drivers for looking for something new.

Its pretty cool the new forum but...
Where is the technical discussion forum? it is very important in my opinion, some pilots like myself are experiencing some problems with their fsx and other third party programs that they could expose here to each other.
I currently have a problem with the fsx and sb4, its causing my fsx to hang and freeze so im looking for a resolution in other forums. Iv been in the company for a wile and when its fixed the resolution will be on this forum along side with other resolution to other problems already answered.
The old technical discussion forum has helped half of the pilots in our company and i think it should still exist as an open discussion room not just an archive.

Its pretty cool the new forum but...
Thanks for the comments David. We always knew that doing things the way we have would cause friction for some, but be a long-overdue and much welcomed event for others.
As we said before the change, and I'll post it again in a wee while, nothing is lost and if there's any posts people want pulled though from the archive, we're more than happy to do so (I'll be pulling your SB4 thread through in a moment, in fact).

This is really well done from my perspective, very clear indicators and easy to navigate.
The overall appearance is a positive change from the Former Forum, good Stuff Guys!!

It should be familiar EJ, same forum software (SMF), and I used the same base theme as them (because I really like Oxygen by Bloc) ;D
