What's about a new division with some old glories of aviation like Douglas DC-X series, Lockheed Constellation or Vickers planes? No commercial flights, just some diversion, like online airshows or something like that! It could be called EuroHarmony Gold! Think about it!

Good idea, one thing, if we were going to make one, it may not be worth making a division with no flights or anything, considering the time taken to paint aircraft, however, mabey if a few aircraft were painted, pilots could use them on modern flights, for example,
EuroHarmony Prop= Lockeed connie
EuroHarmony jet= BAC-111
EuroHolidays Prop= TU-114
EuroHolidays jet= VC-10
EuroCargo Prop= AN-12
EuroCargo jet= DC8 cargo
Notice how i deliberatley left out the EuroBusiness division, no body had them in the old days, only the major rich people like presidents and the pope!

Oh, and the livery would have to be in keeping with the period of aviation when the Aircraft flew

Not needed to be commercial flights, maybe some nice activities like online airshows and meetings, historical flights or some kind of tours. Big bosses, give your opinion!
P.S.- Ó shor Bruno, pensa lá nisso! :P

Well, this idea was "on air" in the past among the management. We were thinking of an aircraft museum with great oldies aircraft that could be used, if EHM existed in those old days. In the original idea aircrafts would show up only on pictures, but I like the new version...
I think we could paint some (about 3) planes in an oldies livery, and the pilots could use those on not scheduled on-line flights. I do not think that a timetable would be necessary, but I can imagine a special Veteran Tour for these aircrafts.

Yup i remember this being brought up in the past but the idea was for some reason rejected by the management

I like the idea of it being a 'veteran tour'. Maybe this could lead to other 'special' tours. Perhaps even a selection of 'veteran tours'. These could emulate famous flights - howabout - fly to Australia a la Amy Johnson! These could be seriously good fun as the Atuopilot would need disabling! Back to some real flying.

EuroHarmony Classics, I think if there are people willing to support it, then mabey it should be seriously considiered, mabey, if we do a special retro style colour with bare metal, that would look really good!

I like the idea of doing it sans autopilot...go back to the challneging days of flying. I also really like the idea of a tour, definately sounds fun.

Hi,
First of all, thank you, Pedrosa, for the idea.
Well, right now, as Razza said, we are trying to fullfill the objectives for 2005. We are re-structuring the fleet, and .. man, that is a "hell" of a job! :)
I like the idea, but right now we cannot implement it, because we have other priorities already scheduled. But the idea will stand on our minds ;) .. That's for sure.
Regards,

Nicely said Bruno, exactly what i wanted to say but that time it made sense
LOL
;D

Ok! We will be waiting! ;)

I have an idea which would incorporate the existence of vintage airplanes. My idea is to have some kind of air-excursions division including small GA planes and some vintage ones. Of course the operating areas have to be such to support the idea making it profitable (if in real life).

But for the time being we are on the edge of our seats awaiting Bruno's restructuring of both fleet and management. Often these discussions turn into a strong argument for a new division or a new plane when really all we really want is a varied flight sim experience - something EHM gives both in day to day and in the regular chages. Can't wait to see the changes for the new stuff.
