As for the snow, I am a few miles south of london....and it has been snowing all day here....its sooooo cold!! Unfortunatrly the snow now isnt settling, so when you get here it will probably just look like its been raining.;)
-
lol yeh my area is jst full with snow but we are a good 9 hours drive away from london so thats why lol
-
Well unlucky you! ;) :]
You decided to come from a nice warm place to a freezing cold place! Make sure you wrap up warm. Yeah its cold all over the UK. Enjoy your holiday.

Nooooo...even London has snow. This has been the worst winter ever in the Pacific Northwest. Some ski resorts still aren't open :'(
EHM-1365, where do you live? I end up visiting my grandmother near Brighton about once a year...
Cheers,
Jonny

Well on Sunday and monday we had loads of snow, the dry slope we have was turned into a proper slope, pure madness!
-
Hey Jonnny,
I live in a village pretty much next to Lewes.
I goto college in Lewes:] - that kind of makes me hate lewes a bit if you know what i mean;) Nice place though. There is a big uproar about parking at the moment - there is a huge army of traffic wardens.
-
What a bunch of Sussex locals we are! I was born and brough up in Pevensey Bay just outside Eastbourne - Lewes was certainly a part of my old stomping ground.
-
You sound like you were quite a rebel, mabey even a giant LOL!
I can't beleive people wat to come on holiday to England, it's cold wet windy and if your lucky, it snows.
Crickey, people who have relatives living within miles of other, its a small world
-
lol, razza you may not think that UK is that great, but the thing about UK is its different from most places, and full of stuf to do which people like
-
Cut the man some slack - he comes from Sunderland so his take on things might be different from the south east Lewes crowd :)
-
Heheh...,
What town do you live in? And um...What college, My Grandmother used to teach at one of them around there as an English prof. I'll probably be back there next summer for some time.
Cheers,
jonny

Well all i know is it rains, it gets windy, then it rains again. The only interesting things up north are the Sage Music Building, the Millenim bridge(Boring) and the angel of the north which is looks like a 747 crashed on it's nose!LOL

Ooh, get her! ;D
The weather in the UK is not always windy/raining/snowing... We always get two days of stupidly hot weather every year (usually when I move house, for some reason...) :D
Being a mad keen road cyclist, Sunderland is at one end of the C2C (coast to coast) ride, one of the more demanding routes in the UK cycling world.
Anyhow, my paternal Grandfather came from Sunderland, so lets not hear too much complaining please... At least Newcastle's Millenium Bridge worked (didn't get a chance to go on the wobbly bridge before they fixed it, at great expense to me as a London Borough council tax payer...) Heck, you're not all that far from Scotland - Glasgow has been European city of culture, and the country once you get up past Loch Lomond/Loch Ness is stunningly beautiful, even in winter... But then, I'm biased in that respect, the maternal side of my family is from North of the Border.
-
Hey Guys. Havn't seen you all in a while. I'm going to do my usual and stick up for my homeland! lol. Everyone always forgets Northern Ireland when they talk about the UK. It is one of the most beautiful parts of the UK and the weather isnt as bad!
Still wouldn't come here for a holiday though. lol
