Title: Just a remark
Post by: EHM-1566 Jesper on March 13, 2005, 07:51:43 pm
At the page about the different hubs you can read the following:
Quote

Stockholm-Arlanda Airport is Europe's sixth largest international airport, the main aviation hub in both Sweden and the Nordic countries

But I don't agree. :P
2003 Arlanda got 15.1 milion passengers. But Denmarks airport Kastrup (EKCH) got 16.4 milion passengers.

Not very important. But right should be right ;D

But having more passengers does not necessarily make it a more important aviation hub.....for that you have to consider the cargo transportation, network of the airlines at the airport as well as what the people are there for, transition or business or just tourism
