Wow ! I have tested my new joys hattop switch while made a fine discovery. You can adjust your base viewing point in the virtual cockpit view by the default view adjust key combinations:
SHIFT+BACKSPACE = move eyepoint up
SHIFT+ENTER = move eyepoint down
CTRL+SHIFT+BACKSPACE = slide left in the seat
CTRL+SHIFT+ENTER = slide right in the seat
CTRL+BACKSPACE = lean ahead in the seat
CTRL+ENTER = lean back in the seat
The funny thing is you can place yourself outside of the cocpit too in the virtual cockpit view ;D
Have fun!

You didn't know these shortcuts? I use them often at landings so I have a clear view of the runway.

I have known these keys for quite while but i did not know that you could move yourself out of the plane! hmm........going to try now! :P ;)

Yes, these were probably odd combinations, but I used only the main views so it was brand new to me ;) And did not mention that before the joystick era I never used virtual cockpit. But now it gives me a superb experience and fun.
