I'm learning to touch type at the moment. Anyone have any tips/tricks?

How many of you touch type and how many of you stare at the keys?

Out of interest, take this typing test http://www.typingtest.com/ (http://www.typingtest.com/) and tell me what you get, leave all settings at their defaults to make it fair.

I get about 40 wpm in normal typing, and much less in touch typing at the moment. Need more practise. Im learning at www.learn2type.com (http://www.learn2type.com) by the way.

50 WPM with some wine in my body using the good old system administrators 8.5 fingers system;-)

i got 67 WPM, not too bad i guess........

I do not stare at the keyboard when typing :)

Yeah those people type ridiculously fast.....i cant even imagine how they manage to type it all out at that speed

yeah i can type fast but i often make mistakes!!!
