Title: Panel Is Dead
Post by: EHM-1627 Chris on June 13, 2005, 09:41:36 pm
When flying planes with the defult FS9 Learjet 45 Panel (Have put onto the EHM planes)

The Panel will randomly die...litterally, all the screens ect go dead.  it is really annoying, and has no real pattern.

Although it only does it when flying with the EHM flight logger.  Has anyone else had this problem.

This machine has got Win ME installed

My Othere Machine Has got Win XP installed, and there is no probs with it???

It's all very strange...any ideas anyone??

Do you mean right after you start and you're in the cockpit?  If so, then yes, it used to happen to me, then I reinstalled and it fixed it.  Happened in FS2002 for me.

In a jet the gen switches should come on automatically if you use Ctrl-E for autostart. But if manual start, the TURN ON THE GENERATORS or you will lose all electics in about 10mins.

Yeh well thats how i found my problem everytime i would use autostart and had the generators on before starting it would switch them off and then while taxing everything would die on me. Quite annoying in the middle of transmission with ATC.

But i suggest he check them after using auto-start probably find thats the problem

There isnt a default shortcut key for the generators so you can either fined the switch which on the Learjet is in the bottom right hand corner or else assign a key to it through flight sim settings. You will find the generators/alternators on/off under General aircraft commands. Hope this helps a little.

Cheers
