I don't know, but I seem to remember from the old days when we had the old main page that when you clicked one of the 'latest forum posts' links that it would not only open the forum thread but would also automatically scroll to the correct post. Not sure though.
However I do know that using 'anchors' in this forum is possible because when you do a search it will automatically jump to the relevent post.
It gets a little annoying having to scroll down to the new post especially in a long thread. If we could add linking to the correct post it would be very useful and more user-friendly.

The previous version of that scripts was written by me, but when the front page was changed, Bruno wrote a new script that displays the latest messages which obviously doesn´t cover the anchors.
I am sure he´ll read this post and take the necesarry action. :>

Yeap, you're right ...
Going to put it on the queue to implement it.
Thank you.

Congratulations Bruno, it works.

Except for the fact that now the 'non-permitted' Management Only boards now show up in the list! ;)
-
Are you sure ? .. I dont see any of the messages there :| ...
-
Nor me, Bruno - tried both IE and FF

Anyone else see this?
ie. a gap in the froum listings then all in bold above it? Or is it supposed to be like this and if so what is the significance of the gap and the bold text?

Sorry for bad quality but I had to resize it.
Could someone from MA post a test mesage in the MA forums and then I'll see if I can see it on the front page. Tell me when your done and I'll tell you if I see it.
Thanks
A confused...

Please ignore that post above. I get it now the bold is for EHM Announcements, and the gap separates them from the rest.
However if any MA could post a test message on any MA forum to test whether I see it on the homepage would be cool.

We already have done that Iain ..
The Management team talk all the days on the Management Forums ;)
You know, we are about 15 of us ... so, it is highly possible that everyday someone posts a message there :) ...
Thank you for your concern.

Then it is working.
