Title: AIRAC 0509 frozen!
Post by: EHM-1365 Benjamin on September 06, 2005, 01:00:39 pm
The DAFIF databases will no longer be publicly available at this time. This means that it is looking like we will be stuck on AIRAC 0509 for a while. For the whole flightsim world it looks like it is a step further away from real world procedures.

That's a shame. Hopefully something can be sorted out.

Being an optimist we're a whole lot further on if access hadn't been granted in the first place.

Don't want to put anyone's nose outta joint, but the DAFIF statement is merely announcing the end of the public consultation period. DAFIF has no plans to remove the public data for a good few cycles... This has been discussed on many, many forums: Enrico over at Project Magenta pointed this out the best, he uses the same source data as Mr. Navdata.at, and has just released Cycle 0510 for the PM software...
