Title: Another FAC issue
Post by: EHM-0005 Maarten on October 24, 2005, 06:09:46 pm
Hi,

I got this message from PP after I submitted my PIREP:

Quote

Dear Pilot,

Well done! You made a ProPilot flight successfully.

You can view your flight analysis on the "My Flights" section on the ProPilot branch.
You last FAC was 60.00 and now is 80.00 because you got a total of 0 for this flight.

See you in the air again!

So if I understand correctly, I made an excellent flight (FAC = 0), but my FAC goes up? :s

Dear pilot ;D,

We announced a new FAC algorithm on the latest PRoPilot 0.8.7 deployment.

You FAC was updated on your last flight. So that value is correct.

Check the ChangeLog on the PP main page in order to know the new algorithm.

Thanks Bruno,

This means that I have to only 21 more flights to get in the top 3 :%

It will not, because on this week we are going to update all pilot's FAC.

Right now they are not updated. It updates when you do a flight. So, in example, Gergely has a 10.55 but it will get a hight value when he makes a new flight.

Its better - before, if you made more flights you had an advantage - 50 rubbish flights was better than 3 almost perfect ones, but now it is quality that counts ;)
