Title: Pro Pilot
Post by: EHM-1742 Gianni on October 25, 2005, 06:35:27 pm
I have a question,

Im fed up of getting penalties for not having beacon lights turned on when my engines turn on automatically,
Anyway i can change that, so i turn on my engines manually after i go turn on the beacon lights??

thanks

what do you exactly mean by engines turn on automatically? It should be possible to turn on all beacon lights and then use ctrl e to start the engines I guess.

Turning on the lights and then starting manually definatly works.

Gianni,

You need to change your default settings:

1) Start Fllight Simulator as normal. (Don't start the flight Logger yet)
2) Turn your engines off.
3) Go to the file menu and select Save Flight.
4) When you get the save dialog window check the box that says "Make this the default flight"

Next time you start Flight Simulator, your engines will be off. Be carefull as it will also save all your Fuel, Payload and light settings as well.

Hope this helps,

Phil

NOw I also get what you mean. What you also can do is first start up FS and park the plane at the gate. Shutdown all the engines. Then start up flightlogger.

Phils's solution wil also work ofcourse

Philnutt is right...
When you follow his steps, everything goes well!!
I had the same problems in the beginning, and these steps fixed the problem.

Good luck!;D
