Title: Airbus A320-200
Post by: EHM-1744 Danny on October 30, 2005, 07:58:34 am
I want to make a flight with the A320-200, but when I'm taxiing the aircraft goes the other way while stearing.
The same problem I have with the Boeing 737-800.

Does anybody knows what can be the problem here?

Check if you could have applied reverse axis on your joystick/yoke

Go to settings then assignment, select joystick axes and then if the boxes under reversed is checked uncheck them.....

In FS  via ALT - Options - Controls - Assignments

then  joystick axis,   (maybe also joystick type)

in the list  Rudder Axes   Z-as  set  reverse to True.

Regards Willem, EHM1328

BTW do you no how many stupid questions there are, if you try to count these questions you're really stupid :]

No, they are not checked....
Is it possible that the aircrafts are not good?

TRy then waht Willem said, but this may only apply on the aircrafts having the problems. Or try to reinstall the aircraft

Good luck and nice flights

I have had the same problem with my joystick (also a ms sidewinder). The problem was my handle was not properly centered. Try moving the handle to the left or right more. calibrating it might also help.

I already calibrate the joystick, but with no luck!
When I open the gas of the aircraft the aircraft goes to the right side of the runway. When I try to stear to the left to get the aircraft on the runway it doesn't help...

BTW....this problem comes with the A320-200. The Boeing 737-800 and other aircrafts worked perfectly!

When adding power monitor the engine data too see if the throttle conrols both engines or just adds power to the number one engine on the A322

If this is the case press: E and 1 and 2 to select both engines.

That was the problem!!
The right engine runs stationary and the left was speeding up. So it's not strange that the aircraft goes to the right side of the runway...

Thank you all for your help!!!!;)

Danny, if you have the paid for FSUIPC, go into the Hotkeys page and assign a shortcut to select all engines (I use Ctrl+Alt+E)... has saved my neck more than once.

No, I have the free version...
But can you tell me what the reason is when I fly at 28000 ft and speed 350 and the aircraft is stalling right up and the speed is dropping like a rock... I did nothing that causes problems....:[

Just glad to help out.
But sometimes it can be a mess getting fs to select both engines again particulary if you need to to so fast.
Then it newer works in time.
FSUIPC has saved me somtimes to.

It's probably an the weather in fs wich doesn't smothe the wind/weather effects an you ran into an strong tailwind wich made you airspeed drop below the stall speed....
FSUIPC also can fix this if ypu got the registred version
:P
