Can anyone tell me how I get the little details on a airport and area vissible? (pushback cars, containers, houses in the area etc. etc.)

Third-party scenery often contains these sorts of things Danny.

Look around for freeware scenery for the airports you are interested in having more detail at, or buy payware sceneries.

Ah, that's actually fairly easy.

Visit the NL2000 scenery project homepage: http://www.nl-2000.com/nuke/index.php

Not just EHAM, but the whole of the Netherlands. Word of warning though, very big download (36.41MB for the current distribution, and a further 20KB for the update to the latest version).
