Title: Problem running A330-300
Post by: EHM-1744 Danny on November 08, 2005, 01:12:55 pm
I have installed the Airbus A330-300 in FS9.
But when I select the aircraft and click on Fly now, I get the following error:

Flightsimulator was unable to load some aircraft or software. You can continue using flightsimulator, but this aircraft or software will be disabled.

File: GAUGES/A330.GAU

How can I make this aircraft running in FS9?

Try putting A330.GAU=1 under the Old Modules section of FS9.cfg.

It may work. In the meantime what is the date of your A330.gau file. I have one dated 15/11/2003 which seems to work fine. I can arrange to get it to you through yousendit.com where you can download it (it's over 4MB) if that will help. Just PM me your email address.

If you open FS9.cfg, there should be a section somewhere with a header:

[OldModules]

If not, create that inside the file, and add the given line under it, then save the cfg. I am sorry to say, that I do not know if it works or not, because I stand absolutely clueless at this problem.

FS9.cfg is somewhere under C:\Documents and settings\***USER***\Application data\Microsoft\FS9

I sent the gauge - did you not get it? You would have received an email from yousendit.com giving a link to download it from.

I have revived the link - you can get the gauge from here

I think you have to put it in the Gauge directory in FS9. Or maybe in the gauge-dir in the aircraft folder.
