Title: Abacus Airbus Fleet
Post by: EHM-1703 Philip on November 15, 2005, 08:31:38 pm
I have seen a few places selling the Abacus "Fly The Airbus Fleet" addon, which came out earlier this month. This is a full set of Airbus Aircraft including the A310-300 and the A350-800. I can not find a review for it anywhere. For those of you that know me, I am Airbus through and through, so I was wondering if anybody had seen or heard anything about this product as I am desperate to update my PSS fleet with something a bit more modern and hopefully a bit more stable.

Here's a link to the product I'm talking about.

It is probably a bit early for a review but there is a thread at Avsim http://tinyurl.com/766mg

Bill Leaming's comment is probably the most apposite and fortunately is on the first page of the thread. Do not dig too far into the thread as it goes seriously off-course. :%

Well, maybe he is right, but I have heard really that Airbus is planning an A350 aircraft. It would be a little bigger than the A330, with improved avionics and technologies, a kind of European triple-7. ;)

I have downloaded it so I will let you know what it's like, I guess it is far too basic to be any good but all the same, I couldn't help having a look at their rendition of the A350.

Okay, It's as I expected. Entry Level. Nice Aircraft, pretty basic Panel and poor dynamics. Hope that helps anybody else that was thinking of it. Pretty much the same as the IFDG with a Decent Freeware panel!
