Hello everybody, long time no see...
I just thought I'd drop a line to warn you from making my
same mistake:
few days ago I finished the Danube Tour. Or so I thought.
Today I check the award page and the Tour Award isn't
there. Strange. I then check my flight list and I find that
flight A511 is missing. Did I fly it and I didn't report it?
Or did I get confused and simply flew A512 after A510?
I won't know.
Why? Because I don't keep an actual, neat, flight log,
on paper. If I did I could clearly see all my flights
since I joined EHM, long long time ago, even before
the "Great Crash". But I didn't: my flight data is on
scrap paper that I eventually trash. I guess that has
gotta change.
Smooth flights to everybody.
Ciao ciao!

That's a very good piece of advice, Manu. I started using a flight logger around 6 month after I joined EHM. But I no longer have the log from before B.C. But all my flight after that are logged with my payware logger, just to avoid something like what you are talking about.

Actually, this is one for Marteen (is he still around?),
and any other real pilot: which brand of logbook (*)
do you use? Where would you order one?
(*) I mean a real one, in paper and leather, not a
software one...
Ciao ciao!

Hi Manu,
Not sure if you are still in the UK....try:
http://www.flightstore.co.uk/
or
http://www.afeonline.com/afeshop/
They definately have log books, but not sure if they are what you are looking for.

Flightstore is a good place to buy from.

I eventually decided to go for this one:
http://www.flightstore.co.uk/pilots_flying_log_book.pilot.supplies/use.id.5.item_id.366.dept.176.dept_l2.178.dept_l3.0/
I'll let you know how it is when it arrives.
Thanks for the suggestions guys!
Ciao ciao!
