Title: Timetable addition
Post by: EHM-1500 Jim on June 02, 2006, 10:57:43 am
Guys, i know we have an excellent and extensive timetable but i wonder if management would consider adding a few more class 5 routes? I almost exclusively fly the 737-800 and most of the time do a short haul IVAO flight lasting 1 -2 hours due to family commitments etc As Heathrow is my hub and often has ATC i tend to use that as a start/finish destination but other than EHAM there are very few other short flights in or out of EGLL for class 5. On IVAE there is often ATC at Brussels and Frankfurt and i wondered if an EGLL to EBBR and EDDF flights could be added - i know this is selfish but would allow me to do the flights for euroharmony that i want to on IVAO. Thanks for your consideration, Jim

Hi Jim,

With a class 5 aircraft, and because you are ATP, you can do class 4, 5 and 6 flights with that airplane.

Just make sure you have fuel to complete it.

Speaking of timetable additions, could I make a couple of flight addition requests? I would love to be able to fly to Mobile, AL (KMOB) as well as Tallahassee (KTLH). We could have some regional flights from Atlanta to these cities.
Thanks,
MZT

Hi there guys,

I asked for some timetable addons and they refused. Sorry for the pessimistic outlook but I'll doubt they'll add these ones too...

I agree with Ben, don't think there much hope of the management making changes to the KATL timetable at the moment. But on the other hand, it can't hurt to ask.

I agree that more flights should be added, there is really not too many and to EGLL for class 5.

Well I have seen in another post that Phil Nutt is working adding some more flight to the timetable for EGLL, EHAM, LSZH & ESSA. So Javier you may be in luck, and get what you are asking for.

Hi,

We cannot judge one case, by being a rule.
So, what I suggest is always to propose to the MT your suggestions.

In this case, send an email to Phil Nutt with your timetable suggestions and he will look at it closely.

We are always open to new ideas and suggestions, but, when we don't accept one, it doesn't mean we will not accept other ones.

Regards,

...

And for those of you *not* in the EGLL hub, Phil is going to be off the Global Hyper Intarweb for a few weeks because of a move of house, so don't go emailling him and expecting a reply in anything less than a day or two (if that...)

Well, here is a suggestion for a little change in the Route System within Spain.
I´ve seen scheduled flights departing from Barcelona (LEBL) to Zaragoza (LEZG) which are operated with a class 4 aircraft. The distance between these two cities is no longer than 300 km, which actually, in my opinion it´s too short to be flown with a class 4 aircraft. I suggest using a class 3 or lower for that route.
On the other hand, the route between Madrid and Barcelona is operated with a class 3 and it takes a lot of time to fly from one city to another if we consideer that in reality, airlines uses a jet aircraft. Actually the air corridor between these cities is one of the crowdest of europe (Iberia´s Air Shuttle). How about a class 5 for that route?
Finally, It happens the same between Madrid and Lisbon (LPPT), although with EuroHolidays is operated by MD-80.

I think this routes should be reviewed, and I explain this because since I started flying for EHM, this surprised me a lot, and I wanted to take this opportunity, now that this topic has been opened.

Regards.

Hi José,

The opportunity is always open.
All you have to do is to email the Divisions Manager, Phil Nutt.

I must say again, that all (and I really mean it) the proposals to improve our VA are listen. So, go ahead. It doesn't hurt :8 ...

Kindly Regards,

Hi evereyone,

I recently emailed my hub manager Ricardo, with a set of EHM flights to/from Turkey that in my humble opinion was necessary due to the little accuracy of the current routes, he told me that he relayed the information elsewhere but I have not received an confirmation or denial...

Thanks and cheers!

Alex;)

Phil Nutt is the divisions manager, so he is the responsible for the timetable.

Send him your email.
