Title: Almost crashed !! Strange default scenery :|

... was landing after a 6 hour flight on Abidjan on Ivory Coast when ... i got that :

I made the landing at night, but had to immediately climb and land again on the last part of the runway..

haha..neat, hopefully someones got a patch somewhere...

Nice evasion technique aswell BF;)

I just wonder how we will get it back out of there!:]

You're supposed to bounce on landing so you miss that spot! ;)

I get something similar at certain fields in Greece (Rhodes off the top of my head); the rwy "smoothed" underneath the ground surface.

Did you try to taxi over (or more likely under) that ground? Gets very strange if you do that ;)

NEWS: Hummer is planning to make airplanes from now on for these kind of runways  ;D

If I were you I would have landed on the taxiway because there were no airplanes......:8
