Title: Avsim download problem

Hello all
Wondering if you have any ideas about this.I have two user accounts on my computer one is the  general one and one is for flight simulator if i try to download from AVSIM from my ordinary account nothing happens it wont download (even if i click the extra link)but if i switch to my flight simulator account voila!i can download from avsim.Any thoughts please.

Well andy, I know this isn't much help, but my only thought is 'weird.' I could understand if it was the other way around, because that you might have closed down some things to run fs better. But on your ordinary account, that just weird.
Sound like you are running something on you ordinary account that block your download. Can you download from other websites, like our own? Are you running some kind of firewall or something like that on your ordinary account that you don't on your FS account.

High Merlin
On my ordinary account its fine downloading from all other sites EXCEPT Avsim where i have to switch to my FS9 account.Its not really a problem just strange.

I think i solved it.I had to go to internet options  advanced and enable "use passive FTP.I have tried a download and this time it worked.Should have checked the AVSIM help file in th first place.
