Ok, my second problem is this:
The EH Airbus A330-300 installation went ahead without a hitch, however, when I select the aircraft from the menu and click ok I get this message:
"Flight Simulator was unable to load some aircraft or software. You can continue using Flight Simulator but this aircraft or software will be disabled.
File: GAUGES\A330.GAU"
FS then stops responding after displaying the message. I get the same with the Dassault Falcon and I think one or two others.
I tried removing the offending file and replacing it with a renamed .GAU file from the standard FS 737-400 and it loads the aircraft without a problem, however the aircraft then only has one gauge working and the others are dark.
Any ideas??
Thank you.5

Hi Chris,
There is an old post about a similar problem, have a read through this and see if they help.

Thanks Phil, I'll have a look at it.

Unfortunately I'm still having no luck here. I've followed all of the instructions on the posts you gave me the link for and although I don't get the error message on selecting the 330 now I don't have any gauges in the panel. Any other ideas?

OK, one solution in this post was to register FSUIPC, I know thats a cost option, (but there are a lot of other reasons for registering FSUIPC) here is the thread:

Sorry thats the only other answer I can help you with.
Good luck mate.

Thanks Phil, I'll look into it. I have managed to get another panel working with the A330, but there were some .gau files that weren.t working. I got fed up and just deleted them and it seems to be working fine so far. Haven't had a proper flight though so will wait and see. Thanks for your help!
