One comment only: Much better than mine (I blame Tim's digital SLR) ;D
-
wow verrry nice ;)
-
Great shots Tim..... Was the Nimrod the MR4 version or the old MR2, I think from the tail it looks like a 4, if so, you may have been one of the lucky few who ever get to see her!
-
WOWOWOWOWOW!
Fabuloso!
Great post tim,,,love the red arrow shots, and you gotta love Goofy with his F16, was speaking to him last sunderland Airshow...when it was rained off.
Was there no Tornado displaying? or just no photo?
-
Cheers guys!
Phil, don't have a clue what the Nimrod was, will try and look it up.:P
Razza, there was a Tornado, I just havn't posted the picks.
-
No Worries Tim. Although it wasn't one of the great V series bombers, it is now one of the only planes from that era left flying and I really hope that they sort out the MR4 rebuilds so her service life can be extended in to the next decade! (Of course the VC10 is still going, but I think her end is also very close.... SNIFF!!! :'(
