it would also be great to have a email be send to the pilot if a Pirep was rejected.. and what the reasong there for was..

Lately I've been missing some submitted pireps, and never saw them again ...

Can't speak for the other Hub Managers, if ever I have trouble with a manual PIREP I always email the pilot.

I must admit though, I get a lot of problems with Pireps that are filed manually. (Normally Time and Date related) I would like to encourage as many people as possible to use the Flight Logger whenever possible.  Remember, even if you aren't on line, you can still use the Flight Logger and save the PIREP and file it later when you go online.

I understand that there are some reasons for using the manual Pirep still,  on the whole though, there is no reason why the vast majority of Pireps can't be filed using the Flight Logger.

Lastly, just a suggestion, if you have a problem with Pireps, try emailing your Hub Manager first, if you get no joy there then contact Bruno. As you can see from the above, by making a post in the forums, you still don't get your questions answered any quicker, especially when we have no idea who you are or what Pireps you are reffering too.

Hello there
my id is 1838
I don't use the flight log program because i don't want any more programs than is necessary running in the background.I already use Activesky,Fs nav,ai smooth etc and i don't really want any more.I understand that you want people to use the logger but if the option of manually submitting pireps is offered then it should work.PS how do i find the E-mail of my hub manager?
Cheers Folks (its to dammed  hot the
UK is turning into Arizona)

Hi Andy,

Your Hub is LGAV so your Hub Manager is Pierre-François Salmand (Maabaa) his email address is pierre-francois@fly-euroharmony.com (You can find the info on Hub Managers and MT members by clicking the company button from the home page then navigate to the Management section)

I have had a quick look on the system and I can't see any pending Pireps for you so I guess only Pierre Francois can help us here. I have sent him a message to see if he knows anything.

Will let you know when I here anything.

Hi Andrew, yes it is indeed holidays ;)
I'm right now on vacation in Bangkok and performing minimal duty (that's why I didn't see that post before, sorry about that).
And no, you don't make a big thing out of this, the satisfaction of every pilot is very important for us, and the forum is there to ask questions (though for that case a mail to me would have been more adapted).

So, about your pireps, I have put 7 of your pireps on hold, because you used the wrong airplane for the flight. For exemple a class 7 aircraft for a class 3  flight.
I did mail you about that before.
I told you that you had flown several flights with the wrong airplane class, but that since it was the first time I was having this issue with you, I was validating them anyway, and I asked you to be careful in the future.
But you did it again, and since I was a bit busy lately I simply put your invalid pireps on hold, to remember mailing you about this issue later (I put pireps on hold, and when they pile up for a given pilot, it means "mail him" ). I thought you did figure the problem out since you didn't fill any invalid pirep for more than 1 month now. I'm going to delete the on hold invalid pireps now so the database will show more normal figures ;D

I hope this answered your question, if you have any questions about EHM operations, feel free to mail me.

Regards.
