Was just wondering that since ive got loads of work recently but i want to stay active:]

Hi Javier,
30 days to become Inactive, and other 30 to become removed.
The Removed status doesn't mean that you are actually physically deleted from the database, but is just a status to difer from the Inactive one.
Also, the system will send you a warning email for both situations, 3 days before that happens.
So, as a practical case, you stop flying on 1th January:
-> The system sends you an email at 28th warning you that you will become inactive if you don't fly.
-> On 1th February the system passes you to inactive state.
-> On 24th February the system sends you an email warning you that you will become removed if you don't fly.
-> On 1th March the system passes you to removed state.
And, 3 months after your removed state, the system also sends you a last email asking you "why did you leave our VA?" in order to improve our quality.
Wow ... How many VA's in the world have this kind of "customer relationship " quality ? :] ... (ok, i shut up).
Regards,

I better start flying again. I've got to do loads of things to do with Music right now, so I better get up in the air. I've had no warnings yet though thank god.
If you get deleted, is that an IP ban, or can you re-join?

Okay, I'm going to ask, Bruno do you mean 30 day or 1 month? becasue in your example you use January has 31 days and Febuary has either 28 or 29 days. I'm just asking to clearify.

Matt, you'd never get "deleted"... the backend script needs two statuses, and they just happen to be called "inactive" and "removed", but they could just as well be called "charlie" and "dave"... ;)
In neither case will your VA membership be removed.

Karsten, I believe that it's 30 days rather than calendar month (but I could oh so easily be wrong... cron makes monthly jobs as easy as daily or weekly jobs)

In the past, it was 30 days, but maybe this has changed ... I am sure Bruno can tell.

Thanks for the fast reply!
